Young wingman Gordon Narrier is off to Arden Street after North Melbourne selected him with pick 20 in Monday's AFL Rookie Draft.

The classy 19-year-old from Northam played 17 league games for Perth this year while living in the club's regional accommodation under Aboriginal Engagement Officer Callum Walley. He also represented WA at the Under 18s Championships in June.

Narrier was the only Demon to be taken at this year's draft, with other prospects Cody Ninyette and Zareth Roe overlooked despite performing well at last month's state combine.
